8. PRODUCT SHIPMENT

In case the customer wishes the lifting and installation service, the charge is 30 euros for mattresses, while for beds with or without mattresses it is 60 euros (excluding cases where the use of a lift is mandatory +120 euros). For orders outside Attica, the transport cost for mattresses is 49 euros while for beds with or without mattresses it is 69 euros. For more information, refer to the shipping costs

When you receive your order from the transport company of your choice, please:

• Make sure that the number of products/packages corresponds to your order 
• Check all boxes/packaging for any damage 
• Open the packages to check the products

If the number of products/packages is less than expected, inform the driver that there is a shortage. If the products are damaged, do not accept delivery and state the reasons for non-acceptance in the relevant documents. For any discrepancies, our customer service department must be informed immediately.

 RETURNS - EXCHANGES – CANCELLATIONS

Return Policy

The terms and conditions described in this policy apply to all products purchased both from the physical store and from the online store of ANTONIOS FARANTATOS MONOPROSOPY IKE through the website www.farantatos.com

 Order Cancellation

The products you wish to return must be in excellent condition, with sealed packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning the products unless the product falls under warranty issues due to a manufacturing defect. In case you open the product packaging, you must take care of the condition of the returned products from the moment they are delivered to you until the moment you deliver them to the company's central warehouses in Peristeri.

The customer/user has the option to return purchased products within 15 days from the time of receipt. If they are not returned within 15 days, then ANTONIOS FARANTATOS MONOPROSOPY IKE may not accept any return or replacement of the product.

In addition to the rights provided by the return policy, all rights applicable to consumers by the existing provisions and laws regarding the sales contract, as well as any right arising in relation to the warranty terms of the products, are recognized in any case.

Refund of value of returned products

Provided you meet the return conditions, we will refund the amount corresponding to the value of the goods you return, via bank deposit to your account unless you wish another refund method for which you must inform us in writing.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:

1) The supply of goods or the provision of services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled and which may occur within the withdrawal period.

2) The supply of goods manufactured according to the specifications you have set as a consumer or which are not in stock and require a special order from the (supplier/manufacturer).

3) The supply of goods which, after delivery, due to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other elements.

We are sorry, but we do not accept returns on special orders (e.g. custom-sized sofas, beds in special colors, etc.), decorative items with opened packaging (e.g. wall clocks, lamps, mirrors, etc.), products that have been assembled and products that were ordered exclusively for you, either from domestic or foreign suppliers/manufacturers.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with a trader in an EU country regarding a product or service you purchased online, you can use the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform, which is provided by the European Commission. This platform is available free of charge, in all EU languages. If you submit a complaint through the ODR platform, you and the trader will have to agree on the alternative dispute resolution body that will handle your dispute. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase of the product.

What will be done to fix the problem?

Farantatos will examine whether the product is covered by the warranty. If the product or a component thereof is found to be defective, it will ensure the correction or repair of the problem. The choice of repair method is solely at the discretion of Farantatos.

Warranty terms

The warranty is valid from the original purchase date of the product and provided it has been purchased from Farantatos. For verification of the purchase date, it is necessary to keep the purchase receipt, as it is the sole proof of the purchase date. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper assembly, improper use or storage, lack of cleanliness or scratches/bumps or any other type of accidents. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, products placed outdoors or in a humid environment or non-domestic use, unless otherwise stated. For your better service, you can contact the support department of Farantatos company. In any case, it is considered that the check for any damage is carried out within 14 days from the date of receipt. In case a problem or damage is reported within 14 days, it is necessary for the consumer to have photos of the products before their packaging is opened, to determine if they were caused by the transport company.

Exceptionally, exhibition products, as used products, are not covered by warranty.

Regarding sofas and beds, the warranty does not cover damage to the sofa or bed due to abnormal environmental conditions (humidity, exposure to excessive heat, cold or light, etc.), overloading, insufficient care (tearing, burning, use of unsuitable cleaning agents, etc.), damage due to the use of non-genuine parts or spare parts or intervention by a third party before Farantatos.

Regarding mattresses, the warranty covers any defects due to the manufacturing or materials of the mattress and not damage from normal wear and tear, mishandling, improper installation, lack of cleanliness, scratches, bumps, or any other type of accident. During the warranty period, the product or its components are either repaired or replaced by Farantatos.

Products made of natural wood may show slight alteration over time (e.g., in oak, beech and walnut veneer due to the naturalness of the wood there is a possibility of some color alteration from natural causes, such as sun, light or other environmental conditions).

Products made of solid wood are living organisms and require special maintenance care.

The product warranty does not include the dispatch of company technicians, as well as the transport for product replacement to and from the customer's premises. These services are charged separately and are not part of the warranty. The warranty concerns the product and not its transport. In no case is the purchase amount of the product refunded.

General rights

In addition to the rights provided by the commercial warranty, all rights applicable to consumers by the existing provisions and laws regarding the sales contract (Article 5 of Law 2251/1994 and Articles 534 et seq. of the Civil Code) are recognized in any case. The consumer's rights by law are cumulative to the rights provided by the warranty.
